The Candor Fire Department is made up of the firefighters of the Candor Fire Company and apparatus from the Candor Fire District

Candor's fire district covers 95 square miles including both the Village and Town of Candor. The main fire station is located just outside the village at 74 Owego Road. Sub-stations in the Catatonk area and between Candor and Willseyville allow faster response times across the district. The Catatonk sub-station houses an engine; the Willseyville sub-station houses a tanker.
Candor Emergency Squad provides EMS in our coverage area and responds automatically with us to motor vehicle accidents and any type of fire.
